Diana Shipping announced Time Charter Contract agreements

Diana Shipping, a global shipping company specializing in the ownership and bareboat charter-in of dry bulk vessels, today announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with Fednav International Ltd., for one of its Ultramax dry bulk vessels, the m/v DSI Pegasus. The gross charter rate is US$18,350 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum August 15, 2027 up to maximum October 15, 2027. The charter is expected to commence on July 27, 2026. The m/v DSI Pegasus is currently chartered, as previously announced, to Cargill Ocean Transportation (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., at a gross charter rate of US$14,250 per day, minus a 4.75% commission paid to third parties.

The “DSI Pegasus” is a 60,508 dwt Ultramax dry bulk vessel built in 2015.

The employment of “DSI Pegasus” is anticipated to generate a total of approximately US$6.95 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.

Diana Shipping also announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has extended the time charter contract with Stone Shipping Ltd, for one of its Ice Class Panamax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Atalandi. The gross charter rate is US$16,500 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum August 1, 2027 up to maximum September 30, 2027. The new charter period is expected to commence on August 5, 2026. The m/v Atalandi is currently chartered, as previously announced, at a gross charter rate of US$10,100 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties.

The “Atalandi” is a 77,529 dwt Ice Class Panamax dry bulk vessel built in 2014.

The employment extension of “Atalandi” is anticipated to generate approximately US$5.89 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.

Diana Shipping further announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with Classic Maritime Inc., for one of its Newcastlemax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Philadelphia. The gross charter rate is US$35,500 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum March 10, 2027 up to maximum May 10, 2027. The charter is expected to commence on August 8, 2026. The m/v Philadelphia is currently chartered, as previously announced, to Refined Success Limited, at a gross charter rate of US$21,500 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties.

The “Philadelphia” is a 206,040 dwt Newcastlemax dry bulk vessel built in 2012.

The employment of “Philadelphia” is anticipated to generate a total of approximately US$7.46 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.
