ATPI Yacht Travel launches dedicated WhatsApp service for yacht crew travel

Urgent crew travel booking service now available across UK and Europe, with US support coming soon.
ATPI Yacht Travel has launched a new 24/7 WhatsApp urgent booking service for the yachting sector, giving authorised bookers such as captains, pursers and HODs an instant connection to specialist support when last-minute crew travel requirements arise.
Created specifically for the yachting community, the service unlocks a direct connection to experienced ATPI Yacht Travel specialists who can manage last-minute crew travel requirements in real time. Offering a faster, more direct alternative to traditional email communications, the service delivers a rapid, effective and low-friction response to itinerary changes, schedule amendments, bookings and unplanned operational requirements.
Initially available from 2nd July across the UK and Europe, the urgent booking service reflects the dynamic nature of the yacht industry, where crewing requirements can change quickly and operational decisions are made around the clock. Expansion into the US market is planned during H2 2026.
Fran Blackburn, Director Client Partnerships at ATPI Yacht Travel, said: “Anyone working in the yacht industry knows that plans can change in an instant. Whether it’s a crew member needing to join a yacht ahead of a charter, a last-minute itinerary change, a medical issue or an unexpected operational requirement, yachts need fast, reliable support to keep the programme on track.
“We created the WhatsApp urgent booking service to give our clients direct access to dedicated yacht travel specialists, 24 hours a day in circumstances where time is of the essence. It means they can send a message at any time and know that an experienced expert is already working to get their crew where they need to be, quickly and efficiently.”
The service complements ATPI Yacht Travel’s established yacht crew travel management offering, giving clients an additional channel for managing urgent and unplanned travel requirements. Supported by the global marine expertise of Direct Travel’s ATPI Marine Travel division, along with its sector-specific knowledge and dedicated support teams, it further strengthens the company’s commitment to delivering responsive, personalised crew travel solutions for the international yachting community.
