Acheon Akti Navigation, a leading family-owned ship management firm, has confirmed its participation at Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) 2026, held at Marina Bay Sands from 25–27 March.
As the maritime sector faces unprecedented regulatory pressure and navigates the complexities of the IMO Net-Zero Framework, Acheon Akti will use APM 2026 to highlight its proactive, results-driven approach to fleet management. The company will showcase its comprehensive suite of services at Stand C-C45, focusing on how robust technical management, rigorous crew training, and EU ETS compliance strategies are actively de-risking operations for shipowners today.
A focal point of the company’s presence in Singapore will be the contribution of CEO Charalambos Manoli, who will join the high-level panel discussion: “Fuels of the Future vs The Reality of Today: Is the IMO Framework Losing its Grip?” taking place on Thursday, 26th March at 13:00 on the Blue Wave Stage.
“The maritime industry is at a crossroads,” notes CEO Charalambos Manoli. “At APM, we aren’t just discussing hypothetical fuels, we are demonstrating the practical, high-standard management solutions that keep fleets compliant and commercially viable right now, while laying the groundwork for the 2028 and 2050 targets.”
The panel will focus heavily on the operational realities that are often overlooked in decarbonisation debates. “The reality of today is that while the industry waits for alternative fuels and infrastructure to scale, immediate emission reductions must be achieved through aggressive technical optimisation. Furthermore, the alternative engines of the future mean very little if we do not urgently address the training gap and ensure we have highly competent seafarers to operate them safely,” Mr. Manolis added.
Throughout the three-day exhibition, Acheon Akti’s senior team will be available at their stand to consult with shipowners on critical, immediate challenges. Key discussion points will include navigating the financial and reporting burdens of the EU ETS, leveraging digitalisation for predictive maintenance, and strategies for retaining top-tier maritime talent in a highly competitive market.
Attendees, shipowners, and industry partners are invited to visit Acheon Akti Navigation at Stand C-C45 to discuss the future of sustainable, transparent, and efficient ship management.
