WISTA Hellas 31th Annual General Assembly and Election of Board of Directors and Auditing Committee

Following its 31th Annual General Assembly and elections for the new Board of Directors and Auditing Committee of WISTA Hellas, held on Wednesday 4th March 2026, WISTA Hellas is pleased to announce the new Board of Directors and Auditing Committee, for the term 2026-2028:

General Secretary Ms. Samantha Lourandou
Purchasing Manager – Member of the ESG Committee, Atlantic Bulk Carriers Management Ltd.
Treasurer Ms. Anna Giatra
Sale & Purchase Broker, Renaissance Shipbroking S.A.
Member Ms. Lydia Argyropoulou
Port Captain/ Dry Cargo Operator at Neda Maritime Agency Co., Ltd
Ms. Stefania Liveri, Ms. Sofia Rizou and Ms. Evgenia Papapontikou have been elected Substitute Members of the BoD, while Ms. Ioanna Topaloglou, Ms. Elina Souli and Ms. Elina Kassotaki shall serve as members of the Auditing Committee.
The Annual General Assembly was marked by an impressive turnout, with 104 members attending and 51 members represented by proxies. The members received a detailed update on the accomplishments of the Association and endorsed the balance sheet for 2025 and the budget for 2026.
The new Board of Directors of WISTA Hellas has been constituted, retaining four of the five members from its previous composition, a fact that ensures continuity and stability in the Association’s work.
WISTA Hellas extends its sincere thanks to Ms. Kyratsoudi, the outgoing member of the Board of Directors, for her contribution and dedication to the organization during her term.
At the same time, it warmly welcomes the new member of the Board of Directors, Ms. Lydia Argyropoulou, whose presence symbolizes both the strengthening of the new generation of professionals in the sector and the representation of women who have served at sea, bringing an important and valuable perspective to the dialogue on shipping.
WISTA Hellas looks forward to the continued support of the shipping community to carry on with its targeted and meaningful initiatives aimed at promoting meritocracy and equal opportunities in the sector.
The BoD of WISTA Hellas would like to thank the members of WISTA Hellas for their vote of confidence and especially for their loyalty and continuous support to the Association.
