AMMITEC celebrates 20 years of Maritime Technology Leadership at “Pita Cutting” ceremony


AMMITEC, the professional association for IT managers in the shipping industry, hosted its annual “Pita Cutting” ceremony on Friday, February 16th, at the Istioploikos restaurant in Piraeus. The event, held also in celebration of AMMITEC‘s 20th anniversary, brought together over 350 members, sponsors and industry leaders for an evening of networking and celebration.

The warm and festive atmosphere was filled with lively discussions, delicious food and drinks and the excitement of a lottery with fantastic prizes offered by AMMITEC’s generous sponsors. The evening provided an invaluable platform for members and sponsors to connect, exchange ideas and forge new partnerships.

A highlight of the event was the recognition of AMMITEC‘s 20-year journey as a driving force for maritime technology innovation. From its inception in 2003, AMMITEC has played a pivotal role in shaping the industry’s technological landscape, fostering knowledge sharing and advocating for the advancement of digital solutions.
