The merger will also centralize safety and quality data and insights-which were previously dispersed across various locations-on a group-wide basis and enhance specialist capabilities across the organization, to respond to changes in the business environment, including geopolitical risks and increasingly stringent environmental regulations. In addition, MOLGSM will work to standardize and optimize operations through technologies such as AI and data analytics to enable rapid and advanced decision-making, while ensuring the safe implementation of new initiatives, including alternative-fuel vessels and other emerging technologies.
The MOL Group will further accelerate its initiatives to achieve “Leading in Safety,” as set forth in the “MOL Group Safety Vision-BLUE ACTION 2035 Phase 2” , while contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
