Provaris CTO per Roed talks with technical partner Prodtex on ‘cracking the code’ for low cost hydrogen storage

Provaris Energy provides investors with two interviews of CEO and Managing Director Martin Carolan and CTO Per Roed released this week

In the below video produced by Frankfurt-based investor relations agency DGWA, hear Provaris CTO Per Roed and Prodtex Founder Tore Roppen discuss our unique approach to constructing a world-first pressurised hydrogen carbon steel tank in Norway for the upcoming prototype testing and how it can unlock the very large addressable market for low-cost hydrogen storage required for marine and industrial applications globally. The successful prototype program will also achieve final certification and class approvals for the H2Neo from Class Societies ABS and DNV in the first quarter of 2024 and have the carrier achieve ‘construction ready’ status to support our first mover advantage for hydrogen transport.

Our Managing Director and CEO Martin Carolan also caught up with Proactive’s Andrew Scott to discuss recent independent research studies, completed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, which have reinforced the compelling technical and economic outcomes of our 2023 Hydrogen Transport Comparison Report released in May. Reports highlight that a regional compressed hydrogen supply can be up to 25% cheaper than globally sourced green hydrogen using alternative transport vectors.
