The Cyprus Shipping Chamber was established on 26 January 1989, and constitutes the trade association of the Shipping Industry in Cyprus. Today marks 33 Years since the Chamber’s establishment and its long history and multifaceted contribution to the Cyprus economy and society. In its 33 years journey, it has conscientiously promoted and safeguarded the interests of its Members and Cyprus Shipping at large. The 17 Founding Members have become today 200 Member-companies and along with its Members, the work and activities of the Association have expanded and improved to keep up with the Industry’s evolving needs.

The future looks promising for Cyprus Shipping, having a reliable partner as the Shipping Chamber, with a strong representative voice in international bodies such as the International Chamber of Shipping – ICS and the European Community Shipowners’ Associations -ECSA and with its continuous efforts to ensure that the Cyprus Shipping remains sustainable and competitive, for the benefit of its Member-companies and the broader Cyprus economy.

On the occasion of the successful completion of 33 years since its establishment, the Cyprus Shipping Chamber launched a short video about the Association’s work and activities during the past three decades.
