“Legal fallout from Covid-19” the Steamship Mutual Cyprus perspective


On 16th November, Cyprus Marine Club held its last event of  2021, having the honour to host Steamship Mutual Cyprus –  Marina Taouxi, Claims Manager and  Francis Vrettos, Director and who delighted Members with a presentation entitled: “Legal Fallout from Covid: A P&I Club’s Perspective”.

In yesterday’s presentation,  Mr. Vrettos and Mrs. Taouxi shared their perspective on the legal fallout arising from Covid-19 and set out the Club’s experience of the rising level of crew related claims faced by the industry and how the Club assists their members.

Capt. Koch, in his speech, thanked and welcomed  Members and Guests, shared membership numbers, and announced the  4th Cyprus Marine Club Gala planned for 14th January 2022 at Amara Hotel, Limassol.
