France and Cyprus share common principles on strengthening maritime safety and the protection of the marine environment


Today the Shipping Deputy Minister Vassilis Demetriades had a very Constructive meeting with the Ambassador of France to Cyprus Mrs. Salina Grenet-Catalano.

“France and Cyprus are two maritime nations sharing common principles on strengthening maritime safety and the protection of the marine environment in the Mediterranean region, at European and international level. We have exchanged ideas on further exploring our bilateral maritime relations in an attempt to promote the sustainability of the shipping sector and the welfare of seafarers ” said the Cypriot Deputy Minister.
