The «Cyprus Maritime Golf Event», an initiative of Golfevents18, is the ultimate golf tournament exclusively designated for distinguished members of the shipping community. A two-day tournament, which will take place at The Aphrodite Hills Golf Resort, Paphos, Cyprus, on Saturday 12^th and Sunday the 13^th of June 2021.

Eighty golfers, all leading executives of the Cypriot and International shipping community, divided in maximum twenty foursome teams will compete in the team competition on the 1^st day of the tournament and an individual competition will take place on the 2^nd day. Plenty of presents and give-aways will be distributed to all participants of the tournament, during the games and at the Award Ceremony. Winning prizes will be awarded to the teams and individual golfers achieving 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place, as well as to the players with the best shots for the «Longest Drive» and «Closest to the Pin» special categories.

The «Cyprus Maritime Golf Event» will be supporting through fund raising the works of the «One Dream One Wish», a charitable non-profit foundation, founded in 1997 by a group of parents of children suffering from cancer.

The association focuses its activities in three main pillars: the fulfilment of the best wishes of the cancer – afflicted children, the economic support of their families and the psychological support of the children and members of their immediate environment.

The «Cyprus Maritime Golf Event» aims to establish itself as an annual pole of attraction and a solid meeting point for the top executives of the Cypriot and International shipping community, who share the same love and passion for the sport of golf and shipping.
