Marina Ioannidou who was awarded as Student of the Year by the City University of London for her thesis “How can the Cypriot ship Registry become more competitive in an international context?” paid a visit to the Shipping Deputy Ministry (SDM) and met with the Shipping Deputy Minister Vassilios Demetriades.
The Shipping Deputy Minister congratulated Marina for the distinction and excellent work and promised her to read the study and its conclusions. SDM encourages young people to include in their studies direction, also maritime studies. There is great potential and future for Cyprus and young people should embrace this exciting sector for which Cyprus can pride itself on its performance!
