Cobelfret accelerates digital transformation with Smart Ship Hub’s integrated maritime platform

“With timestamped data, smart alarms, and integrated decarbonisation analytics, we now have real-time situational awareness,” said Mr. Manoj Pandalanghat, Director and Head of Technical at Cobelfret. “This reshapes technical ship management, putting Cobelfret at the forefront of sustainable, efficient, and safe operations.”
The AI-powered platform enables a shift from scheduled to predictive maintenance. It continuously optimises fuel consumption, hull efficiency, machinery reliability, and emissions, while factoring in weather, sea state, and cargo conditions for accurate voyage optimisation.
Data quality and compliance also sit at the core of the initiative. Automated validations and harmonised data flows streamline regulatory reporting, from Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) tracking to fuel deviation analysis.
“Our collaboration with Cobelfret demonstrates the power of merging high-frequency data with legacy and OEM intelligence,” said Joy Basu, CEO of Smart Ship Hub. “We are enabling predictive intelligence and continuous optimisation, moving Cobelfret from reactive workflows to strategic foresight.”
By delivering transparent emissions benchmarking, fuel efficiency insights, and voyage optimisation tools, the platform reduces Cobelfret’s environmental footprint while generating cost savings. The digital backbone also enhances safety and resilience, setting a new benchmark for digital maturity in maritime operations.
