Accelleron secures ClassNK Innovation Endoresement for LOREKA360° engine and emissions modules

- Tekomar XPERT Engine and Emissions Desk receive ClassNK Products & Solutions certification
- Data acquisition, handling and analytics functions independently confirmed
- Independent third-party certification to support implementation on vessels worldwid
- Accelleron has received Products & Solutions certification under ClassNK’s Innovation Endorsement framework for the engine diagnostics platform Tekomar XPERT Engine and the compliance and reporting tool under Emissions Desk, both part of Accelleron’s LOREKA360° digital suite. The certification represents important recognition of Accelleron’s digital capabilities from a global authority in the maritime industry.
ClassNK’s Innovation Endorsement framework supports innovative initiatives, including new digital solutions, through third-party certification. Accelleron received the Products & Solutions certification following an examination of functions related to data acquisition, data handling and analytics, as well as relevant security documentation. The certification provides independent confirmation of the documented functionality and data processes of Tekomar XPERT Engine and Emissions Desk. These functions are designed to support operators in monitoring fuel efficiency, reporting emissions and making related operational decisions. The two solutions are currently deployed collectively on around 3,000 vessels.
Certified engine and emissions solutions
LOREKA360° Tekomar XPERT Engine assesses engine performance and delivers related advisory instantly. The software solution can be used with any make and size of engine, giving operators visibility on engine operation, optimization recommendations and the ability to benchmark performance across vessels and fleets.LOREKA360° Emissions Desk supports operators in converting vessel data into compliance reporting and insights that can help further reduce emissions. It relies on Tekomar XPERT Engine data – with further analysis by a team of veteran mariners – to deliver both emissions advisory and compliance reporting compatible with multiple regulatory requirements (including IMO and EU frameworks). The emissions reporting software underpinning Emissions Desk can transfer relevant data directly to the ClassNK MRV Portal.
Supporting more efficient ship operations
The ClassNK Products & Solutions certification covers the functions of Tekomar XPERT Engine and Emissions Desk, recognizing their intended application in energy-efficiency-related ship operations.Accelleron Head of Global Operations and Sales Digital Solutions, Shailesh Shirsekar, said: “This certification provides valuable independent recognition of the data processing and analytical functions of Tekomar XPERT Engine and Emissions Desk. These functions are designed to support operational decisions related to fuel consumption and emissions across a wide range of vessels. ClassNK is a leading global authority in maritime innovation, and its independent confirmation will support the uptake of these solutions and the wider LOREKA360° suite among owners and operators in Japan and worldwide.”
The LOREKA360° suite also includes OptiNav AI, a voyage optimization solution using a human-in-the-loop approach from shore, and the hull and propeller performance solution OptiHull. Available as individual modules or as a complete suite, LOREKA360° delivers a simple, comprehensive and integrated solution to support fleetwide optimization and decarbonization.
