Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) issued three new yacht charter licenses to Mayassar Nooraldeen Al-Haddad Company, Seem Prime Company, and Ocean Breeze Company, further strengthening its regulatory role in navigational and maritime tourism activities across the Kingdom.

This step underscores SRSA’s ongoing mandate to regulate and enable navigational and maritime tourism activities across the Red Sea, while reinforcing its commitment to protecting its marine ecosystem and supporting sustainable investment and sector growth.

The newly issued licenses build on the Authority’s efforts to regulate tourism-related navigational and maritime activities and cultivate a more attractive environment for investors, operators, and practitioners. This aligns with its mandate, which includes issuing licenses and permits; establishing the rules, standards and regulatory controls governing marinas, supporting their development and growth, and encouraging investment in navigational and marine activities through clear and effective regulatory frameworks.

SRSA grants yacht charter licenses only after verifying that applicants have fulfilled all approved regulatory requirements. These include compliance with the Authority’s regulations, ensuring the technical and operational readiness of yachts, and adherence to security, safety, and environmental protection standards in accordance with relevant local regulations and approved standards.

These licenses contribute to enhancing the regulation of yacht charter activities, elevating levels of compliance and reliability across the sector, and expanding the range of maritime tourism services. They also support the diversification of tourism offerings, attract investments, create quality employment opportunities, and further promote the sustainability and protection of the marine ecosystem.

With the issuance of these three new licenses, the total number of yacht charter licenses granted by the Authority across the Kingdom has reached eight by the end of the first quarter of 2026. This milestone reaffirms SRSA’s continued efforts to enhance service quality, improve the efficiency of the maritime tourism sector, and advance marine tourism in the Red Sea on more mature and sustainable regulatory foundations.
