The ANTONIOS AND IOANNIS ANGELICOUSSIS FOUNDATION is a charitable organization that has been operating in Greece since February 2013. Its mission is structured around three main pillars: the strengthening of public health, the advancement of public education and the support of social welfare and solidarity initiatives. Through these efforts it aims to create meaningful impact and foster the empowerment of Greek society.

DIOTIMA CENTRE

Diotima Centre is a women’s non-profit organization active since 1989, now operating in Athens and Thessaloniki, specializing in gender issues, gender equality, and gender-based violence.

Diotima Centre’s mission is to support vulnerable women who have experienced violence with limited social and/or economic resources. Diotima Centre adopts a holistic and intersectional approach addressing both immediate and long-term needs of low-income survivors. Diotima Centre’s free specialized services include legal aid and court representation, psychosocial support, career counseling, and empowerment groups. Diotima Centre works to help women break free from abusive environments and regain control over their lives. Prevention is central to Diotima Centre’s core action, promoting a society with zero tolerance for gender-based violence.

Diotima Centre also conducts research, provides training for students, teachers, parents, and frontline professionals, implements awareness campaigns on gender-based violence, and advocates for marginalized women. In 2024, Diotima Centre supported 853 survivors and trained 2,651 individuals. Diotima Centre’s work is delivered by experienced professionals and funded through European programs, foundations and institutions, corporate partnerships, and individual donations.
