Handover Ceremony of the Financial Donation to “One Dream One Wish” of the amount of Euro 6310
Since last year CSN Events introduced the charity sponsorship. For each conference a charity sponsor is selected who contributes a significant amount to a charity foundation of its preference. In addition, CSN decided that there will be no delegates fees making the attendance of the conference free for all employees of shipping and shipping related organisations in Cyprus and instead recommend to the delegates to contribute to the charity foundation supported by the conference by indicating it at the registration.
On May 11th, 2023 a handover ceremony was held during the 1st CSN Cyprus Marine Insurance conference and granted financial donation to “One Dream One Wish” in total amount of Euro 6310 resulting out of the charity sponsorship from Aphentrica Marine Insurance Brokers and the donations from the delegates of the conference.
The cheque was handed by the CEO of Aphentrica, Anna Vourgos to the hands of Maria Christofidou of “One dream One Wish” in Cyprus. Ms. Christofidou in her thank you speech mentioned that “this donation will be used to support children with cancer and their families. The goal of the foundation is not only to support them financially, but also to provide emotional psychological support and also to fulfil the wishes of the children”.
Anna Vourgos thanked CSN for inviting Aphentrica Marine Insurance Brokers as charity sponsors and mentioned that Aphentrica made the donation to “One Dream One Wish” and will further support them in the future and urges other companies to include “One Dream One Wish” in their donation plans.
The Editor of Cyprus Shipping News, Stella Violari thanked Aphentrica Marine Insurance Brokers and the participants of the conference for their generous donation to “One Dream One Wish”.
