The award ceremony for the MIEEK PSM Research Competition “Rethinking Supplier Assessment Criteria in the Post-Pandemic World” was organised by the Programs of Studies “Supply Chain Management and Maritime Studies” and “Culinary Arts and Restaurant Service” on Wednesday, 26 April 2023. The programs are offered by the Higher School of Vocational Education and Training of the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth, MIEEK.
The students had to reevaluate the supplier assessment criteria, considering the turbulence caused not only by COVID-19 but also by the domino effect that followed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The winners of the competition were:
First prize: George Patis and Panagiota Charalambous (Limassol)
Second prize: Georgia Nicolaou and Chrysis Protopapas (Paphos)
The monetary prizes were offered by Lemissoler Navigation Co. Ltd. and L. Nemitsas Ltd.
