Valenciaport awarded Kerry Logistics Spain SAU the diploma of certification Port of Valencia Guarantee Mark

The company Kerry Logistics Spain S.A.U. has received the diploma of certification in the Marca de Garantía Puerto de Valencia after passing the corresponding audit carried out recently.

Rubén Marín, Director of Operations of the Port Authority of Valencia, presented the diploma of certification in the Seal of Guarantee to Marc Porta, CEO of Kerry Logistics Spain S.A.U., at the APV facilities. This accredits the company’s compliance with the commitments of the Marca de Garantía System for the activity of Freight Forwarder and Customs Agent.

Kerry Logistics Spain offers international freight forwarding services and integrated logistics solutions. The firm operates from four locations in Spain, providing full service coverage of the main Spanish airports and ports.

The Guarantee Mark is an Integral Quality System, devised and led by the PAV, which guarantees the provision of certain port services based on quality standards, through the fulfilment of commitments acquired voluntarily by the service providers. It is the service providers themselves who guarantee the speed, safety and reliability of their work.

Among the different services offered by the Marca de Garantía to the port community are the IFCSM Goods Inspection Guarantee, which guarantees customers who contract with companies linked to the Marca de Garantía a container inspection time of less than 45 minutes. On the other hand, the Vessel Call Guarantee guarantees that loading and unloading operations start at the scheduled time and that the vessel remains in port for less than 3 hours.

The Guarantee Mark also guarantees that the bunkering of the vessel will be carried out during port operations without causing unnecessary delays during its stay in port. As far as the safety of the goods is concerned, the Mark guarantees that the delivery of full container goods will take place without incident as soon as they are unloaded from the vessel. For its part, the Mark guarantees that the delivery of the “Bill of Lading” document will take place within a maximum period of 12 working hours from the departure of the vessel. Finally, customers who contract with companies linked to the Mark are guaranteed container flow, which translates into advantages in both import/export and container transhipment.
