Full speed ahead for the complete Digitisation of the Cyprus Shipping Deputy Ministry

In the context of the Digital Transformation of the Shipping Deputy Ministry, a relevant contract was signed today with the CSC consortium made up of Cellock Ltd, SignalGenerix Ltd and Computer Resources International (Luxemburg) S.A.
The consortium in question undertakes the digitisation project of the Services of the Cyprus Shipping Deputy Ministry as a result of the relevant tender process. The project, which is financed by the EU through the Recovery and Resilience Plan, is expected to be completed in 21 months and the value of the project amounts to €1,682,000.
The complete digitisation of the Services of the Shipping Deputy Ministry is a strategic priority which is reflected in the Strategic Vision for Cypriot Shipping “SEA Change 2030”, and more specifically it concerns the implementation of Action No. 13.
In his statements, the Shipping Deputy Minister Vassilis Demetriades said: “Today is an important step in the effort we are making to further strengthen the efficiency of the Deputy Ministry by creating the framework for more immediate and quality service. The full digitisation of the services of the Deputy Ministry is on its way and soon we will be able to operate in a paperless environment, which will form the strongest basis to shape the one-stop-shipping-shop framework. which is a perennial request of the shipping industry”
The contracting company is expected to immediately begin the relevant processes for the implementation of the project, which will be fully aligned with the broader effort made by the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy to digitise the services provided by the Public Sector.
