Viking Line and TT-Line deploy MV Huckleberry Finn on the route between Vuosaari and Muuga

Viking Line and TT-Line will deploy MV Huckleberry Finn on the new service between Vuosaari in Helsinki and Muuga outside Tallinn. The 1A ice class vessel, jointly owned in equal shares by the two shipping companies, will enter service in the first quarter of 2027.
The joint operation between Viking Line and TT-Line will create a competitive long-term service for freight and passenger traffic between Finland and Estonia. It will complement existing services and strengthen transport links across the Gulf of Finland.
– Huckleberry Finn provides us with a strong platform for developing the service between Vuosaari and Muuga over the long term. Together with TT-Line, we are combining the experience and market knowledge of two shipping companies on an important route between Finland and Estonia, says Marcus Risberg, CEO of Viking Line.
Huckleberry Finn has capacity of 2240 lane meters and 400 passengers.
– Demand for efficient transport between Finland and Estonia remains strong. For our customers ample capacity and high reliability are essential. With the new service, we are strengthening our presence in the market and can offer even better conditions for both current and future transport needs, says Harri Tamminen, Freight Director at Viking Line.
Huckleberry Finn will begin operating in the first quarter of 2027.
