Members of staff from Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines recently spent the day volunteering with Suffolk Wildlife Trust at Trimley Marshes Nature Reserve, taking part in practical conservation work to help care for the local environment.

As part of a Suffolk Wildlife Trust ‘Wild Work Day’, the team helped clear litter from key walking routes and wetland areas, collecting a total of 18.7kg. Their efforts helped to enhance the quality of the habitat and ensure a cleaner, safer space for both wildlife and visitors. The activity forms part of Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ continued commitment to sustainability and to supporting the communities it works alongside.

Suffolk Wildlife Trust manages more than 7,100 acres of wild places across 50 nature reserves, protecting a rich variety of landscapes – from coastal habitats to ancient woodland. Volunteer activity plays a vital role in supporting this work, especially at a time when conservation efforts are increasingly crucial.
