Oyster Yachts expand Mediterranean footprint with new Barcelona Service Centre

Oyster Yachts announced the opening of our new, state-of-the-art service centre in Barcelona. The latest addition to our growing global network marks a major milestone in our continued investment in world-class owner support and seamless yacht ownership.
With more than 45 Oyster yachts now wintering in Barcelona, the city has rapidly emerged as one of the most desirable Mediterranean bases for Oyster owners. Offering a compelling alternative to Palma, Barcelona combines excellent marina facilities and superb access to the Balearics and beyond.
Celebrating the Grand Opening
The official opening took place on Friday, 31 October 2025, at the new Oyster workshop in Premià de Mar. The event brought together members of the senior leadership team, captains and crews, partners and suppliers for an afternoon of celebration and connection, warmly welcomed by the local marina community.
The new Oyster Barcelona Service Centre extends our reach across Europe, allowing us to provide expert refit, maintenance, engineering and guardianage services to owners who have wrapped up their summer cruising and are looking to berth and prepare their yachts for the winter, or for longer ocean passages, including participants in the Oyster World Rally.
Stefan Zimmermann Zschocke, Oyster Yachts CEO, said: “Barcelona has quickly become a key hub for Oyster owners, with more than 45 yachts now based here through the winter season. With a protected harbour, exclusive berthing for Oyster yachts, and a trusted network of technical partners, it offers an ideal base for refit, service and preparation for Mediterranean cruising or longer voyages across the Atlantic. Supported by a team of 13 Oyster specialists, our Barcelona service centre ensures that owning an Oyster remains effortless.”
Many Oyster owners already base their yachts in the region, taking advantage of the area’s well-protected harbour, trusted technical partners, and the dedicated Oyster team.
Comprehensive, tailored service
Barcelona joins our established Global Service Network, with other bases in Palma, Antigua, and Newport (USA), delivering the highest standards of service and peace of mind to Oyster owners wherever they sail.
From the Mediterranean to the Caribbean and across the Atlantic, every Oyster Service Centre reflects our commitment to craftsmanship, reliability, and a world-class ownership experience.
Fully staffed by Oyster’s in-house team, the Barcelona Service Centre provides a complete suite of services to keep every Oyster yacht in peak condition, year-round. Offerings include:
- Expert refit and maintenance by Oyster technicians
- Full engineering support
- Comprehensive guardianage packages
- Custom cleaning, detailing, teak treatments and tender care
- Tailored service packages (Standard and Premium tiers)
- Tender storage and maintenance
