France-based BIO-UV Group has strengthened its presence in Southern Europe by appointing Italian marine solutions company Navaltecnica Srl as its official agent and distributor for ballast water and other shipboard water treatment solutions in Italy.

Under the agreement, Navaltecnica will promote and support the full range of BIO-SEA ballast water treatment systems, together with BIO-UV Group’s portfolio of drinking and swimming pool disinfection solutions designed for vessels of all types.

The partnership with Navaltecnica will initially target Italy’s yacht, cruise, and naval shipbuilding sectors, where demand for compliant and efficient water management technologies continues to grow.

Founded over 25 years ago, Navaltecnica has become a trusted supplier to Italy’s shipbuilding and repair sectors, providing high-quality equipment and technical support to shipyards, ship owners, and naval authorities. Its engineering capability and established customer network are expected to expand BIO-UV Group’s foothold in one of Europe’s most dynamic maritime markets.
