Ferretti Group confirms its leadership nine premieres at the Cannes Yachting Festival and positive financial performance

The Mediterranean boat show season gets underway and Ferretti Group showcases a whole host of major new developments, while economic data reveals continued growth. The Group is presenting a total of 26 boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival, including six world premieres for the Ferretti Yachts, Itama, Riva and Wally brands, joined by Ferretti Yachts 940 and Pershing GTX70, which were unveiled at the last Venice Boat Show.
The Group’s usual press conference was held this morning, on opening day at the French boat show – one of the most prestigious events in international yachting – which runs until September 14.
“In moments that matter, like Cannes, Ferretti Group delivers substance and talent: nine wonderful premieres showcasing the people who work with us and the extent of our industrial capacity,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. “Numbers, passion and competence are also behind our financial solidity. and with zero debt we’re in the ideal position to continue growing. We design and build boats that are unique in the world, and we have a responsibility to keep creating more beauty and innovation. The market and our owners appreciate this determination and continue to reward us.”
There was a high concentration of Riva boats in the fleet of premieres, not least Aquariva Special, after 300 unities, an evolution of the iconic runabout with new stylistic details and functions designed to offer an even more authentic cruising experience. Also eagerly awaited, Riva Cento is the exclusive limited edition of the Rivamare model, which introduces new on-board solutions designed to enhance comfort and liveability.
Riva 58’ Capri is the new-generation sport open yacht that combines sleek, modern lines with interiors featuring innovative deck solutions and a special focus on functionality. Completing the line-up of wonders, Riva 112’ Dolcevita Super is a made-to-measure yacht characterised by generous spaces and a streamlined silhouette—the perfect combination of luxury and direct contact with the sea. And welcoming visitors at the entrance to the show is a Riva El Iseo, the first electric model built by the Sarnico-based shipyard, combining timeless class and sustainability.
The stand-out at the show for the Ferretti Yachts brand is Ferretti Yachts 800, the elegant flybridge yacht with optimised spaces, designed for immersive cruising thanks to panoramic views and a layout offering maximum privacy.
Itama 54, on the other hand, reflects the authentically sporty and timeless spirit animating the Itama brand, with pared-down lines and generous living spaces for total cruising freedom.
The last two premieres are the models unveiled in spring at the Venice Boat Show: the generously sized and exquisitely refined Ferretti Yachts 940 widebody yacht, a true home on the sea featuring sophisticated design and huge glazed surfaces, and the compact and dynamic Pershing GTX70 sport utility yacht, the new star of the GTX line, which combines performance, liveability and unprecedented continuity between outdoor and indoor spaces. Turning to Ferretti Group’s sailing yachts, Wally will be showcasingwallywind110 in the special area in Port Canto.
The broad and diversified range of models, reflecting extraordinary creativity and heritage, is one of the pillars underpinning the solid financial performance reported in the first half of the year: net revenue new yachts stands at €620.4 million (+1.5% on the first half of 2024), adjusted EBTDA at €99.1 million, up 2.5% with a margin of 16% (+20 basis points compared to 15.8% in the first half of 2024) and net profit at €43.6 million, basically stable compared to the first six months of 2024. The order intake totals €467.3 million, with a backlog of €1,446 million, representing a slight drop on the figure at June 30, 2024.
As always, Ferretti Group will be accompanied during the Boat Show by an exclusive selection of Italian and international luxury brands: official automotive partner Range Rover together with private aviation leader Flexjet, plus Frette, Venini, Lanerossi and Zimmer+Rohde, while RODA and Nodoitalia are providing their refined outdoor furniture. Italian partners include Dolce & Gabbana, the designer of the Group’s tailor-made staff uniforms, and Lavazza with the brand’s new intense creations, while La Scolca and Ruinart are offering their selections of fine wines and champagnes. The group of partners is completed by Yacht Club di Monaco, Bang&Olufsen, Atelier Rebul, Cassigoli, Limentani, and Seabob.
FERRETTI YACHTS 800
Ferretti Yachts 800 is the new model that completes the range renewal process begun in 2018. Developed by Ferretti Yachts’ Cattolica shipyard, the project is the result of collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The yacht has a length overall of 24.47 m (80 ft 3 in) – a version with a shorter stern platform is also available to comply with the 24-metre limit established by French law – and a maximum beam of 5.91 m (19 ft 5 in). The result of a stylistic evolution process involving architect Filippo Salvetti for the exteriors and the Ideaeitalia team for the interior design, Ferretti Yachts 800 offers the owner peerless comfort and a superior on-board lifestyle for a boat of this size, thanks to optimised spaces and meticulous layout planning. The most innovative features include large windows for uninterrupted views of the surroundings from the interiors and an optional sliding door on the starboard side of the salon; perfectly separated spaces to ensure total privacy; and optimisation of the exterior surfaces and particularly the flybridge (a full 40 m²), further enriching the on-board experience.
