Royal Caribbean’s newest icon of vacations, Star of the Seas arrived in Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, ahead of its official debut on August 16. Star will deliver 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean adventures with stops to Royal Caribbean’s top-rated destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas.

Let the memory-making begin – the ultimate family vacation is finally here. Royal Caribbean’s highly anticipated Star of the Seas* arrived today in Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, for the first time. With just one week to go before the first vacationers set sail on the vacation of a lifetime, more than 2,000 Royal Caribbean team members came together to welcome the newest Icon Class ship to its new homeport. From one celebration to the next, the excitement will continue with a star-studded naming ceremony where Royal Caribbean and godmother Diana Ross will officially kick off Star’s debut season.

On Star, every type of family and vacationer can make memories together and on their own across a lineup of adventures for all ages. Vacationers will be on the edge of their seats with the boldest entertainment at sea with five signature shows across stage, air, water and ice, including the cult-classic movie turned instant-hit musical “Back to the Future: The Musical.” Foodies can satisfy their taste buds with next-level dining experiences at more than 40 spots to dine and drink including an elevated, multi-course dining journey at the Chicago-inspired Lincoln Park Supper Club. Plus, iconic thrills and unrivaled ways to chill are on deck across eight neighborhoods that are destinations in themselves, from Category 6 waterpark’s six waterslides to laidback vibes at seven pools.
