Oyster Yachts is delighted to announce the appointment of Stefan Zimmermann Zschocke as Chief Executive Officer. With more than three decades of international industry experience, the accomplished engineer, passionate sailor and seasoned manufacturing leader will step into his role in September to guide the company’s next phase of growth.

His career bridges both engineering and operations leadership, including senior roles at globally renowned brands like Rolls-Royce Power Solutions and Aston Martin, while under Ford ownership. He has built a reputation for delivering transformational improvements to manufacturing quality and efficiency while staying grounded in customer-focused values.

Experience in the marine realm mirrors his passion for life on the water, as he most recently worked on several award-winning yachts at HanseYachts AG. A lifelong and competitive sailor, deeply connected to the experience of life at sea, his passions reflect the very essence of the Oyster. A seasoned yachtsman, Zimmermann Zschocke has raced in numerous regattas and continues to be actively involved in the sailing community, bringing a sailor’s perspective and instinct to his leadership.

Zimmermann Zschocke’s appointment comes at a pivotal time, as the company builds upon record global sales, expands its portfolio of owner experiences, including the Bluewater Academy and Oyster Explorers Club and commits to continued innovation of the fleet. Zimmermann Zschocke’s leadership will build on this momentum, reinforcing Oyster’s commitment to craftsmanship, flawless production quality, robust construction, and industry-leading design.
