MSC Cruises takes centre stage in its first big game commercial

MSC Cruises starred in its very first Big Game commercial last night, giving millions of viewers a taste of the cruise line’s unique blend of European style and American comfort.
The 60-second commercial showed a glimpse of the experiences awaiting for guests on board its newest flagship, MSC World America, debuting in Miami in April 2025, departing weekly to the Caribbean from MSC Cruises’ brand new, state-of-the-art terminal starting 12 April.
Viewers get a taster of why they should take a ‘holiday’ aboard MSC World Americaand discover the new ship’s impressive venues, attractions and experiences, including:
NEW! All Stars Sports Bar: A lively and vibrant venue where guests can grab a drink with friends and family and watch a game while enjoying comfort bar food and classic American fair. Here, guests can enjoy sports bar signature games including interactive darts, digital shuffleboard and foosball along with a terrace offering unrivalled ocean views.
NEW! Eataly at Sea: The only Eataly restaurant at sea, offering an authentic Italian experience with a menu offering some of the brand’s most-loved dishes to items exclusively available on board.
Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve: MSC Cruises’ private island destination in The Bahamas offers miles of white sand beaches and turquoise waters – a pristine paradise for guests to immerse themselves in natural beauty.
NEW! “Dirty Dancing in Concert”: A new live film-to-concert experience of the classic Lionsgate film that has marked a generation, brought to life with singers, dancers and musicians.
NEW! Cliffhanger – The only over-water swing ride at sea, nestled in the heart of the ship’s Family Aventura district and beckoning thrill seekers who want a rush of excitement while suspended 50 metres above the ocean. MSC World America will offer 7-night Caribbean cruises, with itineraries calling to stunning destinations including Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), San Juan (Puerto Rico) Costa Maya and Cozumel (Mexico) and more. MSC World America will launch from the line’s new terminal at PortMiami on 9 April, which will be the largest cruise terminal in the world. Later in the year, the line will begin offering cruises from Galveston, Texas for the first time, followed by the addition of cruises to Alaska in the summer of 2026.
