Technical Engineer Vacancy at World-Link Maritime Communications

World-Link Maritime Communications Limited member of a group of companies who are world-leaders in the maritime satellite communications is looking to recruit a dynamic Technical Engineer to join our Team.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and set up equipment, instrumentation, and testing according to project specifications and standard operating procedures.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose problems, and perform repairs or adjustments as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
- Manage inventory of laboratory equipment, tools, and supplies, including tracking usage, replenishing consumables, and coordinating equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, including serial numbers.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to coordinate equipment scheduling, prioritize tasks, and address any issues or concerns related to equipment availability or performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve laboratory workflows, enhance equipment efficiency, and optimize resource utilization through process improvements and automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a related field.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Must be a proactive, well-organized team player.
- Familiarity with hardware components and computer architecture.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously improve technical skills.
- Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies quickly.
