Baze Technology, a software technology company known for its innovative IPTV product, is pleased to announce a partnership with CCTV Video News Agency , China’s first and leading video news agency.

This landmark agreement will secure fresh TV news from home for Chinese seafarers as well as cruise passengers across the globe through the information-sharing and entertainment system, Bazeport.

For this on-demand news service, CCTV+ will provide a view of modern China, covering a broad range of news stories including politics, finance, society, humanity, nature, and science – all in Mandarin Chinese language. The program will initially consist of 2 x 15 minutes weekly, tailored exclusively for Bazeport.

CCTV+ will complement Bazeport’s market-leading licensed library of movie and TV content, including new blockbuster movies, popular TV series, documentaries, and news. With the system working primarily offline, crews will have a digital ‘home away from home’ video on-demand entertainment experience onboard. This helps enhance crew socialization and supports crew welfare.
