Organised in cooperation between the IFRC and the ICRC, Connect Technology Conference 2024 took place from May 14th to 16th, 2024, at Montien Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. As a headline sponsor with 30+ years of firsthand experience in delivering communications solutions to the humanitarian sector, IEC Telecom had the honour of joining 24 Red Cross organisations, ICRC, and IFRC delegates in this face-to-face event dedicated to impacting international humanitarian efforts through technology.

Connect Technology Conference kicked off on May 13th with a presentation by Nabil Ben Soussia, CEO – Asia, Middle East & CIS, IEC Telecom. The presentation centered on the transformative role of technologies in advancing the humanitarian response – no matter where missions take place. “Satellite communication is a key driver for change in the humanitarian industry. Connectivity is crucial to ensure a quick and precise response in the field. With digitalisation, we can empower e-medicine, e-learning, and community management solutions,” he shares.
