Tone Hegland Bachke, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has decided to leave Telenor to take on a position as member of the Executive Board of Directors in SHV Holdings N.V. SHV is headquartered in the Netherlands, employs more than 60.000 people and is present in more than 70 countries.

“During her six years in Telenor and her four years as Group CFO, Tone has worked relentlessly to contribute to Telenor´s strategic development and performance. I’m truly grateful for her contribution,” says Sigve Brekke, CEO of Telenor Group.

Kasper Wold Kaarbø, SVP Performance & Ownership in Telenor Group, has been appointed acting CFO from May 8th. Since joining Telenor in 2004, he has held several senior positions across finance and strategy functions in the group. He has also held various board positions within Telenor and is currently member of the Board of Directors in CelcomDigi.

Bachke will continue in Telenor until August 1st, at the latest.
