• The Port Authority of València  is participating from 9 to 11 April in Seatrade Cruise Global – the largest international event of the cruise industry – where it is presenting its services and infrastructures

• Valenciaport’s presence at these fair aims to promote and optimise alliances with the world’s main cruise operators and shipping companies

• With a view to the coming years, the PAV has presented at the event the cruise facilities that will enter service in the Port of València when construction work begins on the new North Terminal

The Port Authority of València  is participating from 9 to 11 April in Seatrade Cruise Global in Miami, the largest event of the international cruise industry. Mar Chao, president of the PAV, and Francesca Antonelli, head of Marketing and Cruises of Valenciaport, have travelled there with the aim of promoting the infrastructures and services of the Port of València while strengthening alliances with the main cruise operators and shipping companies in the world.

As every year, Valenciaport attends the event in Florida attending several events. In addition to the conferences organised by Seatrade, the PAV participates in the “Business on the Bay” meeting organised by CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association).

With a view to 2024 and the coming years, the Port Authority of València explained to the shipping companies, operators from all over the world and the more than one thousand exhibiting companies, a panel with detailed information on the facilities and infrastructures for cruise ships that will come into service in the Port of València when construction work begins on the new North Terminal.

Also today, Francesca Antonelli will participate in the panel “Geopolitical Issues and the Impact on Luxury Cruising”, where she will talk about how geopolitical conflicts can affect ports and cruise destinations, on this occasion, focusing on the field of luxury cruises.

Valenciaport’s cruise offer

 At Seatrade, representatives of Valenciaport held meetings with the heads of the world’s main cruise operators and shipping companies in the PAV’s own exhibition space, which is part of the State Ports stand no. 1205. Valenciaport has provided this space with extensive information on the sustainable cruise offer of the Port of València based on experiences and excursions adapted to the needs of cruise passengers who dock at the Valencian port.

In this sense, València has consolidated its position as a family-friendly and inclusive cruise venue thanks to its differentiated commitment based on adapted experiences, safety, and broad coverage of the needs of visitors.
