Marine Pilot vacancy at P&O Maritime Cyprus

For our established P&O Maritime Cyprus Business Unit, we are looking to hire a skilled Trainee Marine Pilot to provide safe, efficient, and professional pilotage services at the Port of Limassol.
Role:
As a Trainee Marine Pilot, you must have a high level of ship handling skills, local port knowledge of winds, weather, water depths, tides, currents, and navigational standards as well as a general maritime expertise.
Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years Master experience (preferably but not mandatory in Tankers or Ro/Ro Pax).
• Or Marine Pilot Service in major port with valid STCW Certificates.
• Master Unlimited Certificate and CoC in line with Manilla 2010 STCW with validity after the 31st December 2016.
• Fluent in BOTH Greek and English Languages spoken is a MUST
Remuneration: A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicants.
Employment conditions: Permanent, Full-time, work on rotational shifts including weekends and Public Holidays.
Location: Limassol, Cyprus. Applicants must be able to work and reside in Cyprus without the need for work permit.
