As a wind power transportation expert, COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers recently transported three sets of wind turbine equipment to Bangladesh for the northern wind farm of the Bangladesh Coba Wind Power Project Phase II, which was executed by POWERCHINA Chengdu Engineering Corporation Limited (POWERCHINA Chengdu). By providing high-quality and efficient services to the first large-scale wind power project in Bangladesh, COSCO SHIPPING has demonstrated its commitment to supporting the development of clean energy in the country.

The Coba Project is the first large-scale wind power project in Bangladesh. Previously, despite challenges posed by the pandemic, typhoons, and customs clearance, COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers had completed the entire logistics service program for the southern wind farm of Project Phase I.

Hearing is Believing: COSCO SHIPPING Committed to Boosting Accessibility and Inclusion for the Hearing Impaired

Recently, COSCO SHIPPING Charity Foundation received a letter of gratitude from Wang Qianmei, a patient who had been severely deaf for over five years due to sensorineural deafness. Thanks to the foundation’s support, she underwent cochlear implant surgery and received post-operative hearing rehabilitation training, allowing her to regain her hearing ability. “Now, I find myself laughing every day and feeling alive again. I am confident that the future will only get better and better!” she expressed tremendous joy.

This year, COSCO SHIPPING will continue implementing the cochlear implant assistance program in Anhua County and Yuanling County in Hunan Province, Yongde County in Yunnan Province, and Lhorong County in Tibet Autonomous Region. The aim is to assist more individuals in need by restoring their hearing ability, thereby enhancing their quality of life and employability.
