P&O Cruises announces the expansion of its regional sales team for the North, West and East of England

P&O Cruises has expanded its sales team with the addition of five new appointments to provide more support for travel agents based in the North, West and East of England.

Lynsey Roberts joins P&O Cruises as business manager of partnership development. Lynsey will be responsible for a team of three partnership development managers who will be regionally based and cover the North, West and East regions and grow P&O Cruises sales across existing and new agent partners. Lynsey has held roles at TUI for more than 18 years, starting her career in retail before working internationally. Her most recent role was as commercial manager for Marella & TUI River Cruises.

Reporting into Lynsey will be Suzanne Arnold who will cover the North of England and Laura Gray covering the West of England. Cara Hayward, currently national partnership development manager, will move to manage the East region.

Suzanne joins from Ramsay Health Care UK and comes with significant travel experience having previously held roles with Disney Destinations, JTA Travel, USAirtours and If Only. Laura has worked for P&O Cruises for 18 years with previous roles in the contact centre, as well as training and business development. Laura moves into the role from her most recent position of partnership executive supporting agents with their P&O Cruises sales and marketing.

Kane Keating joins P&O Cruises as regional training and engagement manager and will be responsible for all regional face to face training in conjunction with its national and online training strategy. Kane started his career with Thomas Cook, spending 12 years in sales, management, and learning & development roles. His most recent position was with Travelsphere Holidays in cruise operations and training.

P&O Cruises director of sales, Ruth Venn said: “I am delighted to welcome Lynsey, Suzanne, Laura and Kane to the P&O Cruises sales team. They each come with a wealth of experience in travel and an ambition to increase the support we offer our travel agent partners.

“Working with travel agents is critical to our success and these new roles will help us grow our existing partnerships further while working with new agents who are not yet selling cruise holidays. We are always looking to support our travel agent partners by listening to their needs and helping them to understand the P&O Cruises guest experience. The expanded regional team demonstrates our commitment to the trade and means we can offer more support and increase face to face training opportunities.”
