Port of Hamburg Representative Office Mumbai Sule followed Miram as new representative

Sameeha Pradeep Sule is already experienced in Indo-German exchange. During the past three years, she has been part of several intercultural projects of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce. In 2020, she began supporting the Hamburg Representation Mumbai .

In October 2022, the economist took over management of the HRM which also represents Port of Hamburg Marketing. Her predecessor Lea Miram is leaving India after four years and returning to Germany.

Since 2011, the HRM has bridged the gap between the Indian market and the Port of Hamburg. India is one of the port’s most important trading partners. Several container, general cargo, heavy lift and RoRo services connect the Port of Hamburg with India each week. Machinery and equipment, metals and metal products, chemical products as well as textiles and clothing are among the most frequently transported goods.

The representative office supports HHM’s member companies interested in the Indian market, creates networks, organises and supports events and provides information in India about current developments in Germany’s largest port.

In addition to HHM, the HRM also represents the interests of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg in India as well as those of the Hamburg Senate Chancellery, Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, Hamburg Invest and Hamburg Messe und Congress. As part of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce in Mumbai, the Hamburg Representation benefits from the Chamber’s continuing experience and excellent network.
