Despina Panayiotou Theodosiou and Elpi Petraki, the current and most recent previous Presidents of WISTA, International have been included on the prestigious Lloyds List’s 100 Most Influential People in Shippin for 2022.
Petraki earlier this year took over the helm of the Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association from predecessor Panayiotou Theodosiou, who was in the role for five years.
The new president has said she intends to continue the momentum built over the years but says there is still some way to go in terms of gender diversity in the maritime industry.

Panayiotou Theodosiou is CEO of the Cyprus-based Tototheo Maritime and also President of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus.
