Vacancy in Singapore Product Development Manager at Klaveness Dry Bulk

We are looking for a Product Development Manager who wants to help us build our SaaS solution together with a great cross functional team.

This is what you will be doing:
We are looking for a development manager to both lead our development team, coordinate developmental practices with our research team and consult on our product practices. You will be given the opportunity to form the foundation of the digital capabilities of the market manager team. In the initial phase, you are expected to be able to develop the application, manage / lead the team in the technical big picture and assist the product team in building their process and design strategy.
As a core team member, you will be the generalist entrusted with a wide range of tasks which include developing, managing, architecting, and inventing. You will work closely with the business to scale our solutions digitally, with some support from a back-end team. The position is based in Singapore.

This is you:
-
Good track record of entrepreneurship or development across all aspects from front-end to back-end with at least three years of experience
-
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS Markup Languages
-
Fluent in frontend and backend development in Javascript
-
Practical & recent experience with the following technologies, frameworks or libraries (with relevance to the appropriate languages): NodeJS / ReactJS / SailsJs
-
Fluent in at least one of the Database Querying languages: MySQL / PostgreSQL
-
Experience with setting up and managing Azure Cloud Environment, Networking & Architecting Infrastructure
-
Managing Infrastructure Budget
-
Experience with GIT version control.
-
Worked with APIs and have a good understanding of Restful APIs
-
Experience with Docker Containerization and Nginx Configurations
-
Some experience with DevOps processes and management of CI/CD Pipelines
-
Fluent in command-line and at least one of the linux flavors
-
Good-to-have:
-
Experience with NoSQL Database such as MongoDB, worked with Azure Cloud
-
Basic UI/UX and Design Skills including using Figma and/or Adobe XD, and Adobe Creative Cloud

Experience in setting and clearly communicating the technical vision to different stakeholders
-
Experience in leading the team to set clear objectives from technical vision and translating it into key results.

Experience in running both technical and design sprints – Agile Scrum.

BSc., MSc. or solid experience within the relevant field
-
A drive to develop your current competence and learn new skills
-
Want to create great and intuitive user experiences with and for the customers

Willingness and ability to build and develop from scratch

Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with customers and the future development team
