Commenting on the recent appointments VIKAND’s CEO Peter Hult said, “I would like to congratulate all the internal promotions and welcome our new appointments to the VIKAND family. We are nothing without our people and as we expand our services into different maritime and offshore segments, it is the experience and knowledge of our people that will drive our business forward. We think of VIKAND as an asset management company and the most important assets for our clients are their crews. The ‘S’ in ESG needs more focus so that we concentrate on the total environment of our seafarers and how we can improve their working conditions with regards to their health, safety, living conditions, nutrition, and rest periods when at sea. The industry needs to join forces to achieve a total human sustainability solution for our hardworking crews who will repay that commitment with efficiency and hard work.”
