Up to 550 vessels can now leverage Greywing and Dataloy Systems’ integration for smarter crew changes and voyage management

The seamless integration between the data feeds of both parties will give vessel managers an instant sync of key voyage and crew planning insights for efficient and safer journeys.

Greywing and Dataloy Systems have extended the capabilities of their integration, making it possible for up to 550 vessels to tap on their smart solution for crew changes and voyage management.

“Greywing is built for integrations because we know how mission-critical it is for vessel managers to not only gather the right data but make sense of it all with timely insights. Improving the delivery of this context goes automation – it means we have more ways to plan safer voyages and more efficient port of calls to get crewmembers back to their families – and all within 60 seconds from a single dashboard,” said Nick Clarke, Chief Executive Officer at Greywing.

Greywing and Dataloy Systems first launched their partnership in June 2022. Both parties are now in talks with mutual clients to provide their combined services to vessels around the world.

The integration brings Dataloy System’s voyage management data feeds into Greywing’s crew change platform, giving crew managers high visibility into a vessel’s estimated route and plan, as well as information on the exact purpose and stay at each port call. An additional efficiency benefit is that decision makers can also estimate how route deviations will impact cost and CO2 emissions.

Nick Clarke will present the first live demonstration of the integration on 14th September 2pm CET.

“Crew management is one of the most complicated areas of shipping operations, and that complexity has only grown with the pandemic. Using the Greywing integration, Dataloy customers can plan, schedule, track and manage disruptions to rosters. This enables more responsive decision-making and improved productivity and efficiency, including quicker staffing solutions to alleviate delays”, Says Hege Jacobsen, Head of Partner Relations, Dataloy Systems. “The integration with Greywing is yet another example of Dataloy ́s API-first approach and openness to give our mutual customers a far more sophisticated approach to managing operations, crew and minimising disruptions.” said Hege Jacobsen, Head of Partner Relations at Dataloy Systems

“We’re stepping up our efforts to help crewing decision makers with open doors to other vendors who want to explore integrations. This is a real opportunity to reducing friction across the maritime value chain and it’s a natural evolution for where the industry is headed. We’re glad to be pioneering for this change with Dataloy Systems,” said Hrishi Olickel, Chief Technology Officer at Greywing.

Greywing’s platform has the capability to seamlessly integrate with other data sources meaning fresh insights can easily be added to their client-facing dashboard. The team plans to step up its efforts to support crewing decision-makers by continuing to offer integrations free of charge for its clients who have already engaged vendors such as Dataloy Systems.

In the last year alone, Greywing has helped vessel operators assess the viability of up to 4000 crew change assessments
