Safe Bulkers Management Ltd., a leading Shipping Management company based in Limassol, is now recruiting for a hard working and self motivated professional seeking to develop in the Maritime Shipping sector with exceptional multi-tasking, organizational & collaborative skills.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor or/and Master Degree preferably in the Maritime Studies or Business Administration or Economics
  • Understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Superb written, verbal communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent command of English language (Written and oral)
  • Good analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Very good computer skills: Proficiency in MS office (and knowledge in DANAOS Supply Module will be considered an asset)
  • Previous experience in a similar position

Duties:

  • Handling all inquiries of a fleet
  • Planning delivery time tables
  • Collecting supplier’s offers
  • Evaluating quotations
  • Monitoring stock levels
  • Overseeing the ordering and packaging process ready for dispatch
  • Notifying vessels with scheduled delivery of stores / spare parts
  • Budget controlling
