Extending COVID-19 airtime discounts a full year: Early in the pandemic, KVH began offering as much as 50% off pre-paid crew calling cards and will now extend that offer until Dec. 31, 2021. In addition, KVH VSAT subscribers who have completed an airtime plan upgrade by Dec. 31, 2020, will continue to receive up to 50% off their airtime plan until the end of 2021.

Continuing free VoIP calls to ISWAN’s SeafarerHelp hotline: Recognizing the importance of mental well-being, KVH offers free VoIP calls for seafarers to ISWAN’s confidential, multi-lingual hotline, 24/7/365.

“Seafarers have had to endure so much this year, particularly with the introduction of extra measures and procedures brought about by COVID-19, so we felt it was our duty to make connecting with the outside world a little easier for them,” says Elizabeth Jackson, CMO and SVP Strategy for KVH.
