Piraeus Port Authority offered 4000 gifts to the children of the neighbouring Municipalities

PPA S.A. provided again this year 4000 gifts to the children of financially weak families of the neighboring Municipalities (Piraeus, Perama, Salamis), while in cooperation with the social structures of the grocery stores, food was distributed to families. The gift cards delivered today by the Chairman Mr. YU Zenggang and the Top Management team of PPA S.A. On behalf of the Municipalities presented: Mr. Yiannis Moralis, Mayor of Piraeus, Mr. Giannis Lagoudakis, Mayor of Perama and Mr. Pantelis Dioletis, Vice Mayor for Culture of Salamis.
Besides, the Management of PPA S.A. organized numerous activities on the occasion of Christmas:
– In cooperation with the Holy Metropolis of Piraeus, PPA S.A. supported the food distribution program of the Holy Metropolis, in the framework of the charitable work.
– Offered gifts to children hosted in childcare institutions in the wider region.
– As every year, gifts were distributed to all PPA employees and to the children of the PPA employees and also awarded the pupils and students who graduated with excellent degree (totally 34 awards).
The Chairman of the PPA S.A. Mr. Yu Zengang sent wishes to all for a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year, highlighting that: “for one more year PPA S.A. supports the vulnerable groups of the local communities and contributes to the efforts of the municipal authorities in order to face the economic difficulties of the residents of the wider area”.
