Shipping Deputy Minister Natasa Pilides joined the new annual Blue Limassol Forum virtually to discuss ‘Sustainable Coast, Marina and Maritime Environment’.
In her speech, Natasa emphasised the importance of good education and how it should form the foundation of a sustainable environment and highlighted why maritime education is a top priority for the #CYShippingDeputyMinistry.
As well as exploring key issues and initiatives directly linked to the blue economy, Natasa also explained the need to balance blue growth with environmental protection, which is the sole purpose of the European Union’s integrated maritime policy.
