The Greek Shipping industry is undertaking the coverage of all the needs and the expenses for the creation of 12 new beds in the Intensive Care Unit of the General State Hospital of Nikaia. Evangelos Marinakis, Aggeliki Frangou and the company ION SA are behind this initiative.

The donation, totaling more than €1,5000,000, includes the purchase of full equipment for 12 ICU beds (special ICU beds, fixed high-tech respirators, special monitors, pumps, defibrillators, etc.). Included is also covering the costs for all construction work and spatial transformations required, the costs for all electromechanical work, the cost of all the health and nursing equipment required, as well as anything else resulting from the expansion of the Intensive Care Unit.
