The Cyprus Shipping Chamber welcomes with satisfaction the inclusion of the Cyprus Flag to the “Qualship 21” list of the US Coast Guard after being removed from the Targeted flaglist of the USCG, further improving its safety performance as to the applicable regulations and quality image.

This very positive outcome, comes as a result of a targeted strategy set by the Cyprus Maritime Administration and is expected to reduce ship inspections at USA ports and further establish Cyprus Registry as one of the safest and of high standards in the world.

The Shipping Chamber, congratulates the Shipping Deputy Ministry for this important achievement and stands ready to continue its close cooperation with the Shipping Ministry and other shipping stakeholders, for the further promotion and development of Cyprus Shipping.
