Petronav Ship Management Limited, based in Cyprus, is involved in the full-management of oil-tankers operating in the transportation and supply of marine oil and other cargoes as well as bunkering in Cyprus, Romania & Israel.

We are currently seeking to appoint a high calibre individual in Cyprus for the following position:

TECHNICAL MANAGER

The Technical Manager will be in charge of the technical activities & maintenance operations of Petronav Ship Management Ltd fleet. This includes supervising the technical team, overseeing daily operations of the ships, on-going & dry dock maintenance & repairs, budgeting, internal and external audits, surveys, etc.

 Required Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Required Qualifications / Competencies:
  • University Degree in Marine Engineering or any other relevant degree. 
  • Minimum ten years of experience as Technical Manager or Technical Superintendent in a shipping company
  • Experience with tanker ship management will be considered as an advantage
  • Minimum three years of sea-going experience
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
  • Team player and team-building ability
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong English and good Greek communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong computer literacy
