3rd Cyprus Marine Club Gala Dinner

On Friday, January 10, 2020, approximately 140 guests gathered at Parklane Luxury Collection and Spa to celebrate the 3rd New Year’s Annual Gala of Cyprus Marine Club.
Among gathered guests, Cyprus Marine Club was honoured with presence of Deputy Minister of Shipping to the President – Mrs. Natasa Pilides, Permanent Secretary of the Shipping Deputy Ministry – Mr. Costas Iacovou , as well as Mayor of Limassol – Mr. Nicos Nicolaides.

Furthermore, President of Cyprus Union of Shipowners – Mr. Andreas Hadjiyiannis honoured the Club not only as the guest but also the main speaker at this most prestigious Club’s event.
Mr. Hadjiyiannis delighted guests with a very heart warming speech in which he referred to Cyprus Marine Club as home and thanked Cyprus Marine Club for giving excellent networking opportunities for so many related (but not limited to) shipping industry.
President, Capt. Eberhard Koch in his short, opening speech to Guests, welcomed all warmly and shared with Members and Guests his very special wishes for 2020 – first – a merger of Cyprus Union of Shipowners and Cyprus Shipping Chamber which would be a great success for Cyprus and second – an establishment of a SAR – Search and Rescue Center in Limassol.

The ballroom of the hotel was beautifully decorated and guests could enjoy not only a splendid menu but also a saxophone and exquisite dancing performance.
The Cyprus Marine Club is a non-profit organization that embraces and encourages a plethora of maritime industry stakeholders for friendly membership. Ship Owners, Ship Managers, Crew Managers, Service Providers & Suppliers, Agents, Terminal Operators, Legal and Financial and more, come together with a focused effort to promote and celebrate the Cyprus maritime industry and share experiences.
