SAFEBULKERS and its CEO Polys Hadjioannou offer five scholarships for studies at universities in Greece and the United Kingdom, amounting to € 10,000 each each.
This scholarship program supports the Cyprus Ministry of Shipping’s “Sea… Your Horizon” Campaign to promote maritime and maritime studies and professions (www.seayourhorizon.com).
Cyprus Shipping Deputy Minister Vassilis Demetriades commented “Such initiatives by companies that have always supported the Cyprus Shipping encourage young Cypriots to turn their attention to an area with great prospects and dynamism that is offered for a successful professional career!”
It is noted that the scholarships will be granted to graduates of Cypriot secondary schools but also to students who are already studying in respective schools abroad.
